Very Good My first "Dummies" book in color! This was a great reference for getting started with my EOS 80D, I wish they did more on lens selection which is the follow up step to almost any camera purchase, but for getting started quickly with alot of good color picture references as help is a great idea. Is David Busch's guide better, I'd have to say yes, but they both do a good job of getting you up and running.. Eagle Vision said Excellent, comprehensive review of the Canon EOS 80D. I am reviewing the Kindle and Print version of the book. I have always enjoyed the Dummies series for many subjects.I had recently acquired the 80D, and I wanted to be able to work the camera to its full potential. Every function is reviewed, and the photographic examples are detailed. Although you can learn from reading the manual, there are practical tips and examples that just don't come through when. Saly said with useful examples and tips. Very well written and helpful book. I'm a first time Canon DSLR user and trying to learn all the features and menus using the provided user manual was extremely frustrating. This book is well organized and comprehensive, with useful examples and tips.
