He's enjoying the book, although he did say that it's more of a social and cultural history of Mississippi from Reconstruction to the Depression, than it is of music. He gave it a 4-star rating.. Five Stars Great book. Highly recommended.. "Founf In Tune to be True to Name" according to P. Gittings. Found it to be a very well written and researched book. I was not expecting much at first but thought it did a good job of not jut exploring the 2 musicians but also good history of the time period and the region.
