A beautiful book Victoria I just recently started to collect books on the White House. These was perfect a beautifu book with lots of photos. I really enjoyed reading about the people who have looked after the first families for over two hundred years. It gave information about the White House being built. It is interesting and I shared with my family. A great find and well worth the money.. Hobo said great for the collection. I have a small collection of books about the White House and this is a nice addition to it. The National Geographic Society lends itself well to this project with their exceptional photos and graphics. A topic as big as this building can't be handled in detail in just one volume, but for those who love the architecture and history of the building and its residents this is a good beginning.. Lapin said Beautiful book! Includes up to the Obamas. Beautiful book! Includes up to the Obamas. Gave it to a friend's HS age daughter as a present. The entire family loved it esp. since they had recently taken a trip to DC and toured the WH.
