I also know that it's relatively expensive (at least to me), but you need to see this edition and then you'll understand why I'm so excited. This set combines the separate volumes that originally cost more than this combined edition.To begin with, it's published by Taschen Books-a leader in fine graphi. some guy said fantastic production, diappointing selections. I was REALLY looking forward to this book, and I have to say I felt a little let down. The printing quality, production and price are excellent, but i was disappointed with the covers they chose. The books are organized alphabetically by musician and it seems that they were trying to include as many different musicians as they could rather than choosing the sleeves based on artwork alone. Consequently, many well-known (. "Great gift for Jazz lovers at a great price!" according to arh. I bought this as a gift for my father and he absolutely LOVED it. He's not much of a coffee table book guy, but as soon as he got it he stayed up for hours looking at the album covers and reading the comments/history about each one. The pages are beautiful and includes TWO huge volumes. Great price for two large books.

He lives and works in Lisbon and dedicates his free time to recovering old and rare recordings.Julius Wiedemann was born in Brazil, studied graphic design and marketing, and was an art editor for digital and design magazines in Tokyo. He started collecting vinyl at 15, and flies to London, Paris, New York and São Paulo to enrich his collection of over 25,000 LPs.
