Jim Queen said Very Sweet Book. Very sweet book but for most of the book it was about our hero and his wards and not much about the love interest which was thrown in here and there (and little of it) so it was very disjointed to me when she showed up at the end. Plot idea was good she just needs to put. A love story steeped in duty, and honor and family Major Calbourne Rutherford is a British soldier who is very happy and content being in the Army. His life changes though when he inherits his title. He returns to England intent on ferreting out an assassin and taking care of his estate. He discovers he must take care of. Who doesn't love a marriage of convenience story? I like this author and I love "marriage of convenience" themes so this was an auto-buy for me.
