Not a good introduction to potty training and not well-written for the 1-3 yr old age group Emily Yee My 19 month old daughter now recognizes Elmo and so I thought getting a potty themed book to introduce her to the idea of going to the potty would be great. However, I was disappointed when I got the book because even though it says it is targeted for ages 1-3, it is not well written for that age group. P is for Potty sounds like a board book that would be simple, direct, and to the point, so I was surprised when I opened it up and saw paragraphs. I wish I. Cute Book (and my story of how I got my 3 year old son to potty train in a half of a day!) My big one loves it (3) and my little one (20 months) loves to read with us and look under all the flaps. Here is a tip mommies! About a month ago, my son was 3 years and 2 months. He didn't want to go on the potty. One of his friends came over and his mom and I had a cup of coffee. She told me that when her son was 2 1/2, she took him to day care one day and they told her that the next day to bring in SIX PAIRS OF UNDIES AND SIX FULL CHANGES OF CLOTHES bec. Love the flaps, my favorite potty training book so far. 1m2345 Cute book and really got my son to start thinking about going potty. He isn't going on the potty yet but I introduced this book about six months ago (at age 18 months) and he really liked the flaps and it got him talking about the potty. I like that the book touches on going to the potty throughout the story, but that there are also other things going on in the book (playing with his cousin in the sandbox, etc) so that its not so in your face about going p
