A bit predictable Michael Haywood A little more than a third of the book is the set up for the crime. After that, Poirot appears and does his thing - Interview everyone and solve the crime. It's a bit boring at times and predictable but a few Poirot novels are like that.It's not a bad read but it's not that interesting of a read either. It's too much of a typical Poirot novel without offering anything original or even giving us a plot we can't wait to sink our teeth into..
