Scofield: If any word of mine shall add to the number of the readers of this book I shall be glad to have written it; and I sincerely wish that all believers, and especially all ministers and Christian workers, might in some way be led to read it. The subject is vital to any right understanding of the age in which we live, and of the personal conflict which we wage; for the existence, personality, and power of Satan are awful facts and of immense present significance. I know of no other book on Satan in which the dispensational aspects of the subject are so clearly stated, nor any other so severely Biblical. We walk in the midst of his snares, hear on every hand his doctrines proclaimed by m

Kug said More Interesting than I Ever Imagined. I read of this book in an article that was referencing it so thought, why not? It was written by a theologian in I believe 1907. Its not necessarily an easy read but it is an eye opening one. Keep in mind this was written over 100 years ago and the guy lays out much of what we are experiencing and seeing today. It takes you inside the Bible and an in depth study of the character Satan. I've read a lot but nothing quite like this. It is very specific, well documented and kept my interest end to end. Its not a light read but well worth it.. S. Fox said A terrific book. The is a fantastic little book by Chafer describing how Satan operates in this world system in which he has a great deal of authority. Compared to Chafer's "Systematic Theology" this was an easy and enjoyable read. The chapter on the believer's position in Christ should be read by all since it seems most believers aren't aware of these truths. Chafer points out a problem we see in the church today, the social gospel. Even in the 19"A terrific book" according to S. Fox. This is brief but surprisingly comprehensive review of the Biblical person of Satan, his activity, influence, and workings throughout history. I found it to be very thought provoking the first time I read it and find new insights each time I reread it. I would highly recommend this book to ministers, Bible students or anyone who wants a deeper understanding of this important subject. Chafer writes very clearly and understandably without being either pretentious or dumbing down his subject matter. I recommend this book very highly, without any reservations.
