If you are a non-knitter, but know one (or more: we are spreading!), then I recommend this book as a guide to the World of Knitters. She makes me laugh, and feel good about my foibles as a knitter. I should be working on that hat right now.. "Traveler's Guide to the Land of Nirvana" according to live2knit. While Stephanie seems to repeat some of her humor throughout her books, this is one of her best guides to why one should learn to knit. She answers many questions that beginners, and experienced knitters have about this art form (and indeed it IS an art form). She gives information, and justification about why we knit. This is indeed one of her better, if not her best book. Well done, Stephanie, please keep writing.. Love to knit Because I knit all the time, much of what she wrote struck a happy chord. I look forward to reading more from her. My husband enjoyed many of the excerpts I read to him and now I've passed the book on to another knitting friend.
