Vague and too wordy I've bought dozens of products on Amazon and I've never written a product review. With this said I feel the need to mention something that to me it's important. I've received good and bad products over the years but never cared about reviewing them but this specific product made me. I write it because it's a product that I wanted to be EXCELLENT and something that I would love. But it isn't. This book has excellent. Klaus knows of what he speaks B. Mcfadden Even though Klaus Janson's style is not my favorite, he very, very much knows the language, structure, and art of putting together a comic book page. I was dubious about this book at the beginning, but was so very glad I bought it by the end. Check out his "DC Comics Guide to Inking Comics" as well. It doesn't cover digital inking (nor does this one cover digital pencils/roughs) but the concepts, mechanics, and adv. Still on my Shelf This guide to penciling is on my shelf because it helps me lay down my pencils for my quirky artwork. It teaches students how to lay out pencils for the comic books. It has a lot of text in it so you are going to read and read with less examples than you may want in a book on penciling. Kaus Janson was a big Daredevil artist at one time. I never quite cared for his penciling on that title but he made it an interest
