The Best Yet I discovered the Laundry Files series less than a year ago and have become more enamored of it with each successive book. Mr. Stross has always been clear that the series won't have a happy ending, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun to read. "Delirium Brief" mixes criticism of the British political system with a twisty, tense plot, sardonic humor and wonderful characters.In "Delirium Brief" the Laundry finds itself in dire straits. . "Amazing read for fans of the series, with plenty of surprises" according to B. Dewhirst. Like many of Charlie Stross' novels, there's a serious risk of lost sleep from "must read one more chapter" syndrome. If this had been the (premature) end of the series, it would have been a pretty satisfying ending place, but clearly, there is at least one more page-turner left to go.The following is intended to be a spoiler-free review for this book, but may contain light spoilers for earlier books.I'm thrilled that there are more.
