Chuck Roast said Thank God He Gave Us SEAL Team Warriors. FULL DISCLOSURE: I have friends who are former Teams guys who, along the way, helped me stay safe in my career thus I do have a special place in my heart for these guys. That said, I've never met Mr. Lacz so I have no personal connection with him though I learned, after reading his book that he apparently lives in my old stomping grounds in the Panhandle.I bought this book after seeing him on Fox & Friends talking about his book. I decided I'd buy it as a way of quietly supporting him and those who have fought for us. I figured it would be like all the other books out there where authors talks more about their accomplishment, with perhaps so. On Target Went on a jag reading several bios and autobios of snipers in Afghanistan and Iraq. This was one of them. It's a pretty good read, as good or better than several others. The author discusses some of the psychological aspects of sniping nothing too deep or lengthy but interesting. This book, and many others I have read, hint at some of the foolish military decisions made by people (read politicians and general officers) far removed from the battlefield. Every foot soldier has had the same complaint in every war no doubt. Keep in mind -- things aren't over "over there" so the author's experiences are still happening to other snipers right now.. Bits Underground - Always Working! :) said Humble and Humorous Insight Into This Elite Group of Men. Everybody has already said it but I think Kevin says it best, "Teams and Sh*t" and when he says it, you just get it. I think the book is a terrific story. I felt like I learned less about SEAL/s and more about Kevin and the men he served with. Dauber was a solid operator, a good man in front of the train or the back. He did it all and it was refreshing to get a real honest "New Guy" take on being a SEAL. I enjoyed the book tremendously and seeing the hints of friendship that existed between Kevin (Dauber) and Chris Kyle (American Sniper) were very humanizing. Chris's somewhat protective nature struck Kevin enough to write about it. I think K

Minute by minute, Lacz relays the edge-of-your-seat details of his team's missions in Ramadi, offering a firsthand glimpse into the heated combat, extreme conditions, and harrowing experiences they faced every day. Through it all, Lacz and his teammates formed unbreakable bonds and never lost sight of the cause: protecting America with their fight. The Last Punisher is a bold, no-holds-barred first-person account of the Iraq War. The Last Punisher brings the listener into the life and mind of a SEAL, demonstrating the tough realities of war. At the same time, Lacz shares how these experiences made him a better man and how proud he is of his contributions to one of this country's most difficult military campaigns.. This legendary unit, known as The Punishers, included Chris Kyle (American Sniper), Mike Monsoor, Ryan Job, and Marc Lee. With wry humor and moving testimony, Kevin Lacz tells the story of his tour in Iraq with SEAL Team Three, the warrior elite of the navy. These brave men were instrumental in securing the key locations in the pivotal 2006 Battle of Ramadi, told with stunning detail in this book
