Needs more disaster and less introspection and concerns about relationships with each other. I had high hopes for this book. I love a good "end of the world" thriller. This book however is mostly about the relationships of characters, their Christian faith or lack thereof. Several of the characters appear just long enough so that they can be killed off. All of this is against the backd. Science / doomsday novels are often action packed and climatic Science / doomsday novels are often filled with action but also one-dimensional- I really appreciate the attention given to developing the characters, giving them real depth and relevance!
