To add to the excitement, a beautifully wrapped gift has mysteriously appeared in the parlor. --Lois Faye Dyer. What connection does the gaily wrapped gift have with the unmarked grave in the meadow? Was the great-great-grandmother of this generation of Malory's a Gypsy or a Russian Princess? Or both? How will the Malory clan accept the secrets revealed by this wonderful Christmas gift? The Present is a charming, warm, and amusing visit with the much-loved members of the fascinating Malory family. No one knows who placed it there and Jason Malory, the eldest and only permanent resident

"The PresentExcellent!!!" according to Dina Flores. Loved it!!!In this story we get a little history about the Malory's and if the rumor of having a grandmother who was a gypsy was true. I especially loved the fact that it was sent up during the holidays and everyone was present for Christmas. Amy, Warren, Tony, Roslynn, James, Georgina, Reggie, Nicholas, and their children plus others of the Malory clan were all there. Of course James and Tony were at it again.classic haha!!Christopher and Anastasia's was heart warming and beautiful. Truly love this series.. The Mallory' s always enjoyable IrishPooh This was a wonderful end for Jason and Molly. Hearing the story of their grandparents was heartwarming. I only wish they had a little more of Jason and Molly's beginning there is always vague references it would have been a wonderful parallel to Christopher and Anastasia. But as always JL always puts enough heart and humour in her books. Keeping her characters personalities the same in the series. Consistent and enjoyable.. An easy read and really good for those nights you need For all the fans of the Mallory/Anderson saga, this book is a must. We get to see the "elder" Jason Mallory vulnerable and more approachable. The "mystery" of the occasional dark haired, dark skinned Mallory is finally settled. The family can no longer pretend that the gypsy grandmother is a myth. The reactions of the family is revealing and interesting. The effect on Jason and Molly is quite enjoyable. An easy read and really good for those nights you need something to bring on the sweet dreams. Enjoy this deeper look into the Mallory family.
