Great, Organized Go-To For Any Artist At first I thought I might send this book back; there is really not a lot of new material here and if you have a collection of this type of book, as I do, you will see many familiar techniques. It is, admittedly, called "fundamentals" and that is exactly what it is. Its STRENGTHS, however, are its organization (it is all sectioned out in artistic genres), . Ellany said Interesting book, but lacks Step by Step Guideline. When I read the reviews on this book and looked inside I was interested. When I received the book, now that's another story. When looking through the book online, I noticed that it helps you with background techniques for painting.Which is the reason for buying it in the first place. But once I had the book and looked through it, I noticed the book just sk. Marion G. Simon said Would not recommend it.. Kinda dissapointedNot much in it . Not much instruction. Just a glitsy book with photos and not very clear instructionsWould not recommend itIt does not go into very much detail which is what a person expects when they buy a book with"101" in the title. Pictures are prettyA little more instruction would have been a great asset to this book.
