Perfect for all new moms! I got this when I had my first child and it really helped with some of the things I was experiencing. There is also one called Father's First Steps which was perfect for my husband (and small/short enough that he could get through it!). I really like all of the Sears Family books and this one is no exception.. "I wish I had found this while I was still pregnant!" according to Kisa791. Love this book. Great tips and perspective for first time parents. Dr Sears is wonderful. Even if you don't agree with "attachment" parenting you can still get a lot of practical advice. A really enjoyable quick read.. A mist read Monica Morris A must read for a new mother. Put you at ease regarding the pressures of if your doing things so called correct. Would be a great shower gift.
