L. Stamper said Whistleblowing gone wrong. I bought this book on the recommendation of one of the parties being written about. It is the story of how one man did something for all the right reasons and in the end learns No Good Deed Goes Unpunished. If you are considering going forward with a qui tam, this book is a must read so that you are fully informed. If you are a prosecutor, qui tam attorney or law enforcement that deal with qui tams, please read this book. It reminds you of the impact these acts have on the relator and more importantly, their family. My only ctiticism i. Good Read This book starts out slow but it gets better as the chapters move on. It contains some pretty amazing and unbelievable narrative. I give Mr. Holzrichter credit for doing the right thing, even though his life has changed considerably as a result of whistleblowing. As I read the book, I kept wondering if I would possess the courage to do what Holzricher did. All in all, a good read.. You can not trust big corporations. Dennis Reinier He is a personal friend. I knew he went through much, but the full depth of his ordeal was unknown by me. Now I know.

When a seemingly ordinary and seriously underestimated family man discovers evidence of potentially massive mismanagement and fraud on the part of the US defense contractor he works for, his desire to help the company itself and his need to protect his newly healing family and newfound sobriety crash headlong into the seventeen-year-long corporate assault on everything he holds dear for knowing too much and refusing to ignore or help bury the truth. It is a living testament to the enduring best of the human spirit and fragility of democracy. A JUST CAUSE is an intensely personal yet sweeping tale of personal integrity and corporate intrigue that speaks to crucial issues we are currently challenged to navigate as a nation and as a people eager to renew our faith in and claim on the American Dream. It is, above all else, a celebration of heroes.. It is a suspenseful yet inspirational real life story of the power of the citizen, the potential for effective action in government, and the importance of family in trying times
