Can make a good addition to you mead book collection. As pointed out in previous reviews the page numbers don't match the table of content but they are in the same order as in the table of content. Though inconvenient it is still possible to find the info quickly. The book devotes just a few pages (at most) on history, what mead is, and techniques/process of making mead. Thus, this book wouldn't be the best for a stand alone mead book compared to others like The Compleat Mead Make. A "must" buy for every meadmaker! Amazon Customer Very impressed in two ways. Page numbers in Table of Contents are wrong, they do not match the pages !! Furthermore lack of an index in the back. An index is needed to cross reference and search by ingredients.
