It was well written, well executed, with so many ideas and clever plots and twists and turns that make me want to scream abuse at the “baddies”, or tear up with pity for Peeta or Katniss, or cheer on the characters that made this story what it is. How Suzanne Collins captured the characteristics of such good people, is a mystery.Before I read this book, I read many bad reviews saying that it was the worst book i. its all about what you don't see in the movie When I first read the first book it was already after the movie came out and I was on the beach in Thailand and I was thinking to myself this is going to be a light fun reading. Boy I was wrong. The first book was (as always) much better than the movie and showed a large scale of emotions and thoughts coming from the main characters.But we are here to talk about the second bookWow! I read somewhere that the author wrote the books based on her father experience in war and PTSD and since I have some limited experience in t. A. Dillon said It caught me. Books are always better than the movie. This series is interesting and fast-paced. I first bought them to help me bond with my young teen foster child. She really enjoyed reading these together. I liked it so much I bought a set for both of us. I rarely keep paper books any more, preferring the digital books but I do have these in paper. This is the second book in the series and is named well- about a community catching the fire to start making changes.
