"My semi-negative opinion" according to Sherry Hagenson. I bought this novel on the basis of the extremely positive reviews; everyone seemed to love it, so I assumed I would, too. Not so much. First, I will say that I did appreciate Riddle's premise; the eventual point he was trying to make is something with which I completely agree. Also, the book is very well-edited and formatted; you won't be annoyed by poor spelling, grammar, etc. My problems with this novel centered around the characters; I never felt that . SLOWWWWWWWWWW. lunpy joe Slow moving. Had to stop reading several times and walk away due to extreme boredom. Took me over a month to finish this short novel.The slow pace, unlikeable characters, and unrealistic moral dilemmas they spent most of the book struggling with made it very difficult to read.Liked the Atlantis series by this author so tried this book and am very disappointed.. Ottar Evensen said Brilliant!. As always this talented author caught my interest from the opening line and I could not stop reading until the end. I love the quick style, with a few sentences you suddenly feel you know all the main characters, and I enjoyed the presentation of each chapter where each of them separately tell their story as an I person.
