"Nice but not that easy" according to Fladabosco. This is a nice little book and I'll use it with my students. It goes up above the staff and has too many long phrases to really be easy.When I read through it I suspected this book was not written by a horn player. If you search on the author's name you'll find he has written books on guitar and ukelele.Is it worth 10 bucks with free shipping? Eh.. "Easy and good practice for re-beginners!" according to GH. After 50 years without playing, I needed a slow intro when I picked my horn back up. It's ALMOST slow enough, but it's not the fault of the author that I am so out of practice. The pieces are simple and recognizable, and I hope will get me back where I need to be so I can at least join the local community orchestra!. Peter Kiss said Great for beginners!. This book is perfect for dedicated beginners in the french horn! It has some songs that you will most definitely recognize like Vivaldi's Spring. You feel like you accomplish something when playing most songs from the book but be warned. You need to be pretty skilled so about a year of practice or if you practice a lot then at minimum one-half year.
