Nerdy Roommate Loved It Got it for my freakishly talented piano playing roommate. He loves it, and though the sheet music is on the easy side for him, he still has a lot of fun playing it since he's a big Harry Potter nerd. The arrangements are actually pretty spot on.But everyone on here was right, the book binding isn't the best and it doesn't stay open real well on the music stand. We'll probably tear the pages out and put them in a 3 ring binder. If you don't want to hassle with that kind of work, I'd suggest buying a different book.. "kindle versions of sheet music may not be the best option" according to T. Keenan. I got the kindle version of the Harry Potter Musical Magic sheet music because of the reviews that the hard copy had a poor binding. I don't think the kindle version is the better way to go, though. The images were not very crisp and I was unable make out some musical symbols, even after zooming in - too fuzzy. I did a search of musical symbols on Wikipedia and found the most likely one that belonged and that had the closest shape (if I was a trained musician maybe this wouldn't have been a problem - this was for my son who is ta. Chasm of Books said Wonderful Collection of Songs from the First Five Movies. I absolutely love the Harry Potter music. It truly is magical. The songs are simple but require a lot of technique to play which is exactly what makes them hard. I love all of the songs included in this book; they are very fun to play and really get you into a Harry Potter mood if you aren't already.My only issue with this collection of songs is that the first couple of pages of the book fell out. You could hardly turn the page without risking their removal. The binding isn't the best.
