Richard F Gaston said Fabulous. I always played basketball. Starting at age 7 – maybe before. So did all my friends. A cement court with one basket and usually no net was our playground, often until pitch-black darkness. Once a year or so my dad bought us a new net so we could tell for sure whether or not a shot was good. The net lasted until winter, but we lasted a lot longer. We all played in high school, college intramurals, and the sport kept me fit and sane throughout graduate school and training. The w. my husband as a present and it's really a wonderful book. He loves it and it's attractive enough I got this for my husband as a present and it's really a wonderful book. He loves it and it's attractive enough to have as a coffee table book! This author was recommended to me by a friend and she did not disappoint!. Amazing photos!! Cathy Howland Hoop: the American dream is a beautiful book and photographer Robin Layton has captured the true essence of the sport. But this is so much more than a book about basketballit's all about the artistry and creativity the photographer uses to capture the small, unique details from hoops across the country.
