I'm sure it's a great book, but it's completely unreadable. S Joyce I read the reviews saying that the eBook was formatted strangely, but underestimated just how strange. Every page except for the cover is sideways and narrowed, making the eBook unreadable-- even changing the orientation of the device doesn't help, and seems to make it worse. I uploaded two screenshots here of what the book looks like at portrait orientation and landscape for a comparison.I called customer service, who sh. "I love Ms. Haines' work" according to Schuyler Grace. I love Ms. Haines' work, and this book takes you further into her mind as she paints various subjects. I was very happy to add this to my collection. It takes you through everything from selection of paint and tools through realizing your vision in paint. It won't make you another Jean Haines, but I'm certain it will add to any reader's repertoire of techniques.. "Lovely book by a lovely person." according to Glenda Young. What can I say. I just love this artist and everything she does. Yes there are similarities to the other books she has done, but so what. It is beautifully done and every Jean Haines fan should own this lovely book. She is generous with her knowledge, and more than that, so very encouraging. If you don't think you can do it, just read this book for daily inspiration and you will do it.
