Tres Bien! This is what I was looking for. I have had 1 year of college French but it has been quite some time ago. I commute 1 hour to work and back everyday and I wanted to spend my time doing something fun and productive and this really meets that need. It protective case with CDs is very nice. The booklets are separate and handy. It is set up simply to allow me to. "A good way to develop vocabulary." according to Greg de Freitas. A great system for learning to speak a language. The lessons gradually build vocab. by adding just one word at a time. Before long you will be speaking phrases and then constructing sentences. This is the quickest method I have found of developing vocab. as all words are used in context. The main drawback in learning this way is that it does not develop you. Great item for someone who already knows some French I took French in high school, but I'm incredibly rusty having not really used it at all for the past 10 years. After having used the CDs for a couple of weeks, I find myself picking up what I had worked on before as well as new words/phrases. However, I think this would be a difficult product for someone who doesn't already understand the basics of French g
