Tate said Wonders of the Deep. I got this for my girlfriend. The photography is really beautiful and it is full of great information I had no idea about (even though I didn't really have much knowledge about the ocean to begin with). I would really recommend it even if you don't have a passion for the ocean cause the photography itself is completely worth the purchase.. But seriously, it's a remarkable read, one that I might repurchase for me. The book is written for both 11 year old boys and somewhat older adults. The photography is remarkable, and with any luck, it will inspire him to consider oceanography as a life path.. Amazing images!
