Extremely Useful Complimentary Grammar Book for Spanish Students This book on Spanish grammar is very useful. I wish I had it when I was studying Spanish in high school or college. It discusses so many nitty-gritty things that Spanish students struggle with.When I first got it, I was under the impression that it would explain the past tenses, the subjunctive, etc. It's advanced Spanish grammar, right? When I read the table of contents, . Janet said Good ADVANCED Spanish review. This book contains describes information on advanced grammar not usually found in most review texts. I especially appreciated the explanations of reported speech and prepositions. This is NOT a book for beginners or beginning intermediate students. This book gets into some of the nuances of the Spanish language. I only wish there were more exercises. That is how I pick it . Useful book Every book needs to be evaluated according to its stated purpose and goals. The purpose of this book is to provide move beyond the basics of Spanish grammar and into more advanced topics. I rate the book highly for reaching this goal.It assumes a basic understanding of grammar and vocabulary. I found that its usefulness was diminished if I did not have a basic grammar for
