NOT Danzig Baldaev who has been described as an evil and cruel prison guard by those who have watched his interview (I have not). Several blogs have claimed this book is part of the Russian Criminal Tattoo series of books by Baldaev. They are completely different. A departure from the Russian Criminal Tattoo Encyclopedia series, this book is filled with many actual tattoo photos and a section on identifying facial features commonly found amongst criminals. But you still have the signature common artwork found in the series.These seem to get a bit repetitive, but I enjoy this. Series and story behind the research, as well as the artwork. Check it out if your a fan, or interested in the stories behind the fringe and taboo practice in the gulag.. If you've read the other ones there's not much new info,,,but as I am a collector of such info, this book was right up my alley. nice picsdetailed explanations in parts of the book, I would definitely recommend this book but only if you are a completest.Other than that, its a cool book
