DESCRIPTION:

Robert K. Fries said just like the movies about Sherlock Holmes circulating today. I'm a Sherlock Holmes fan. I haven't always been "this way". And "books" ? I have a few 100,+-. But I don't have ANY that I don't consider of SPECIAL VALUE. If one happens to get stuck in our house and it's "under "MY" jurisdiction, it won't stay long; off-to-the-thrift-store-it must-go! I scour Amazon first for deals. On this one I had an inside track it was coming but was not yet available, I orde. "Bravo, Wendy Fries, for a Brilliant, Amazing and heart-tweaking book." according to Linda C. This incredible little book deserves all the bravos I can give it. It's a must have for any Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Sherlock (and all the other characterizations of film and television as well) devotee. There are so many heart-squeezing moments and shout-outs to Holmes and Watson and Sherlock and John and their legendary friendship/partnership and Wendy's friends and fans that it is a terrific r. Delightful and charming This series of short stories was delightful. Some are charming, some ridiculously silly, some harrowing, some heartbreaking. All are completely original and beautifully written. The author's style is unique--witty, entertaining, emotional. And so many happy endings--every time, we want these two lonely men to find each other, and every time, they do. A wonderful choice for any fan of Sherlock Holmes
