"Intense" according to Nicky's Mom MD. This tale begins as a straightforward story about a family tragedy but morphs into a modern fairy tale complete with monster, quest, and the classic "happily ever after." I initially thought it was sort of a bait and switch type of situation, but as I read the story, I found the plot to be compelling.. Kermit La Rana said Suspense, sci-fi or fantasy. What an interesting spin on old fairy tales combined with intrigue, mystery, betrayal and the greatest of all, love. It's a page turner so be prepared to stay awake or take a staycation. A troll, a few witches, Internet peeping and books.. "Five Stars" according to Catherine Breitfeller. I really enjoyed this book.
