Jeffrey Kluger was the co-author of Lost Moon, which became the movie Apollo 13. There are plenty of similarities between the two stories. Many of the same people from Apollo . "Apollo 8 - your'e GO for TLI" Arthur Puccetti Well written and packed with facts and good behind-the-scenes information especially insights into the personal lives of the flight crews. I was a flight controller on the Apollo 8 mission and the book was a pleasant look back at the challenges and excitement that existed in the Space Program during the '60s.. Mr. Kluger captures much of the sense of adventure, excitement, risk, and wonder that accompanied the first manned mission to orbit the moon. The facts and details appear accurate and appropriate. However, the book largely recounts information that is already widely known and published. I had hoped that Mr. Kluger would report upon the little-known aspects of the mission, such as the guidance and navigation details, more about the design and performance of the Apol
