Linda Day said Avoid the shorter version and go for the hardback!. I bought the "shorter edition" for a class because I was trying to save money with a paperback. This is NOT the same book at the hardcover! I regretted my purchase by the end of the first class -- the paperback shorter edition is missing so much interesting material from the full-length edition, that you just don't get a good picture of the material being covered. Douglas Moncsko said It's alright. Good content, poor condition.. I got the book on time, however there were a few issues that concerned me. One the back cover was ripped off, so I hope I'm not charged for that. They put their sticker over it so I should be fine. Other than that the online code was used, I was expecting to use the code to get homework done. Otherwise it's in good condition.
