Chongo said Memoirs of a bygone era. This is a great book that was very difficult to put down much like Motley Crue's "The Dirt". In fact I'd put both of these books together & if there's a third one out there somewhere that also features another infamous L.A. Rock band from the 80's, it could very well be a trilogy of sorts. Like a Brett Easton Ellis novel minus the nonsensical, this book pretty much cov. "The title says it all, and in that order too" according to Larry. Have you ever had someone lie to you, and you knew right away that they were lying to you. And they knew that you knew that they were lying to you, but they still lied to you to anyway? Maybe lie is too harsh of word, more like exaggerate greatly. Welcome to the tales of Stephen Pearcy. What I don’t understand is why he feels the need to exaggerate some of his li. Will bring you Back For More Excellent book on the Metal scene on 1980s LA from Stephen's perspective and the entire history of RATT. Very smooth read and great details on other bands, groupies, etc. Easily one of the better auto biographies that I've read in ages.

A jaw-dropping tell-all from the lead singer of the 1980s supergroup Ratt: the groupies, the trashed hotel rooms, the drugs—and just how much you can get away with when you’re one of the biggest hair metal stars of all time.Women. And the fans were just as bad, as husbands and mothers offered up nubile wives and daughters as tribute to their rock ’n’ roll idols. On a journey that could happen only in America, Pearcy met everyone from Michael Jackson to Drew Barrymore (at age twelve, at a New York nightclub, at 2 a.m.) to Rodney Dangerfield. Stephen Pearcy and supergroup Ratt hit the bull’s-eye. His rock ’n’ roll confessional, by turns incredible, hilarious, and lyrical, is a story of survival—and a search for the things that matter most.. There was nothing these guys wouldn’t snort, drink, bed, or break. His infamous partne

"Very funny and loaded with tales of Stephen's many sexual conquests, funny stories about his bandmates, other musical contemporaries of his era and some very unusual first encounters with many of them." (Robert Scales They Will Rock You)
