A bridge too far J. H. Clemson This item is referred to as "The Fellowship of the Ring (BBC Full-Cast Dramatization) [UNABRIDGED]". Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary defines "unabridged" as "2 : being the most complete of its class : not based on one larger". This definition led me to believe that I would be receiving the whole story. I should have looked at the number of disks (or tapes) and the 4 hour time given. This is not an unabridged version of the first boook of The LOTR trilogy. It might be an unabridged version of the BBC rendition, but who knows. This is just slightly longer than the movie version, so still no Tom B, no B. Stacie Winters said Five Stars. Product came on time is just wonderful. It's like listening to a play. Very ejoyable. Don't Bother I tried to listen to this from a copy I got from the library. Terrible. The dramatization is very distracting and some voices are so low you can't hear them. I listened to about 30 minutes and stopped. I am purchasing the unabridged edition through Audible.
