"Enjoyed every minute of it" according to Avid Reader Girl. I'd like to start off my review by saying just how intense this novel really is. It reminded me a lot of the kind of psychological thriller that the movie Fallen was for me. As pure entertainment, this book was great. But there's also another level to it where I got to explore a well done novel about Stockholm Syndrome and its effects on one young woman. We've heard about this before a. "Wow. Astoundingly good!" according to JadeVixen. Wow. The perfection of this story is astounding. I am not surprised. Maggie James has a gift that I've come to truly appreciate. Much like Gillian Flynn, she has a way with telling a story that leaves you in suspense. I simply could not stop reading. I was completely absorbed in the story, the characters, and the way the author expertly weaved them together. We get to see the inner work
