This short little book gives some nice floorplans for supposed hobbit homes, but never addresses any technical issues at all, and is more about how pleasant a hobbit home should be than how these homes could be built. Nothing about drainage, structural support, site suitability, or even long term livability or climate approprateness.If you are looking for something about hobbits for your collection get this.If you are looking for something to inspire building your own hobbit home, turn t. Odd little book This is kind of an odd little book. More of an interesting coffee table book rather than a serious book on earth sheltered homes. Imagine if a hobbit architect (without a strict planning board in the shire) decided to publish some of his design work This is what she might publish.. Awesome and inspirational!!!!
