Excellent,informative book Mr. Rue obviously has spent unimaginable amount of time studying these animals,and has acquired a very thorough understanding of their behavior and traits.I thought I had some ideas about deer characteristics,but just about every page seems to yield more information that increases my knowledge about what I am actually seeing when I observe these beautiful creatures.. Excellent Read! I am nearly done reading the book and I think I'll read it again. Very insightful observations and facts about whitetails based on real experience. Now the observations are based mostly in the eastern US but that's where I hunt so I found it particularly helpful. But it's still applicable to all whitetail hunters.
