Continuing on where Taking Natasha ended, The Scarlet Club takes the reader on an adrenaline pumping journey through the violent labyrinthine world of modern day slave trafficking.I've read a little about the subject before, but this book, as well as the previous book, Taking Natasha, really brought it home to me, just how easy it is for someone, especially a teenage girl or young woman to simply vanish from her former . I was afraid I would be lost since I have not yet read Taking Natasha, but I wasn't. The events in book one are explained and tie in perfectly in book two. I love the emphasis placed on family in the story and the way Mason is determined to reclaim his daughter and repay the bad guys for every frightenin. "I couldn't put it down!" according to teresa. Book was well written with plenty of suspense and action.Mason is a retired police detective and can never stand injustice. His daughter is taken after Mason and her saved Natasha from sex trafficking ring.Mason goes on the hunt for his daughter with Natasha, and you better watch out for he is out for blood, and nobody can stop him until he finds her.Great book highly recommend.
