DESCRIPTION:
30-Second Economics
"Highly Entertaining and Informative!" according to R. Watts. If you're interested in economics (and every responsible adult should be,) this is a very useful book on the theories behind the subject. Constructed in a highly entertaining, informative and easy to follow reference guide, this beautifully bound book highlights "the 50 most thought-provoking economic theories" such as Marginalism, the Expected Utility Theory, Free Market Capitalism and The Phillips Curve. Colorful illustrations and charts add much character to this boo. A Good Economics Dictionary PDA An easy to understand read with good explanations of economic terms, theories, etc. Not for the well informed. Explanations, due to conciseness constraints, are broad, general and don't include everything. But for the layman to get what the pundits are talking about, I would highly recommend it.. This is better than I hoped! It's even a little more in depth than I thought it would be. It touches on many people I probably wouldn't have ever gotten around to readinglike Ricardo, Becker, Malthus. Unfortunately there's more Keynes in here than any fan of the free market would want to hear. Great resource of basic info in dozens of areas!
