The photographs are stunning and the book is just amazingly well done.. Beautiful book, but not very insightful I have to say, it is a beautiful book. Very tactile feelheavyand has many wonderful colored plates. I've only read a couple of chapters, and I like what I've read. However, I feel it could have been a bit more comprehensive. What is written is merely a reiteration of the narrative you find on the show itself. I was hoping for information that I would have gone into more depth about each episode. I'm not quite sure it warrants the price, but I do like having it in my collection.. What If? Really interesting and fun book to read. Since this is a companion book to the Ancient Aliens television show, you may not learn a whole lot if you are a devoted fan but I believe you'll still enjoy the book. If you aren't a regular viewer of the TV show I think you'll still enjoy reading the book. The book will make you ask "what if" we were visited by extraterrestrials just like "Chariots of the Gods" did almost 50 years ago.
