Although I have not yet used this book, I believe I am happy with it including it's condition and the delivery time.. Sounds good around a Civil War campground I am a Civil War reenactor and also a Classical Guitarist. I have worked through a number of these pieces and find they are generally appropriate and add a nice atmosphere to the reenactments. While the arrangements are generally good, there are a fair number of typos through the book and places where the tabulature does not match with the standard notation. But, I believe most of these are easily resolvable and worth the effort to work on.
Includes Marching Through Georgia, The Battle Hymn of the Republic, When Johnny Comes Marching Home, Go Down, Moses, many others. Forty-one favorites: songs to rally the troops, ballads of sorrow, even some of hope and humor. Each song printed as a guitar solo and also as a "lead sheet" with accompaniment and complete lyrics.
