One of My Top Two I love Jacqueline Kirby mysteries. This one and its sequel "Naked Once More" are among my favorite books of all time.In this story, Jacqueline decides to go on vacation and the best one she can find is to sign up for a romance writers' conference. While she is there, a journalist dies under strange circumstances, and she finds herself trying to solve the murder while vying with the police.In the end, she comes to an understanding with Patrick, the officer in question, and takes a backhanded stab at writing a romance novel.
