I love the photo on the cover as we have Silkies D. Werner I love the photo on the cover as we have Silkies at home. I was bummed out that there was not an additional photo showing the grid of monthly pictures as most calendars have. I took a chance and was disappointed that the rest of the pictures weren't nearly as cute as the cover. I am actually dreading a few months of the year when we will have to look at some really ugly chickens for a whole month. Gave it four stars because I really love chickens and am glad that there is any chicken calendars at all.. "Great white elephant or awesome unexpected gift in general." according to Erica Kimberly. Hilarious and brilliant every year. My new boss had last year's calendar and I was jealous, this year she couldnt find it in stores so I surprised her with this. She was floored and so happy. THis random calendar will be great for any vegan or vegetarian friend (also a little mocking LOL) great for a white elephant gift and a great price too. You cant help but laugh no matter who you are looking at these wacky little guys!. Nice calendar and photos but needs more information I like the pictures in this calendar, although my own chickens are all much cooler. I get so excited about the next month's chicken that I rarely wait to see who is pictured. Great, clear pictures.My only gripe is that there is relatively little information about the chickens pictured. I mean, what do like to do? What are their favorite foods? Who are their special friends in the henway?I know that all my chickens have distinct likes and dislikes.
