Gamer for Life: Alpha World, Book 1

Gamer for Life: Alpha World, Book 1 better than I expected, a solid, thoughtful start to a new LitRPG series. FBT This is actually not half bad. I didnt care for the Heinlein-esque descent into juvenile polyamory fantasy. But overall I thought the book was relatively well written, showed careful planning by the author in creating a premise and story, and moved along smoothly. If you just look at low level stuff, like how sentences flow, how the dialog reads, and so on, its really very solid work. The premise is a go. Quite good

Quite good Amazon Customer A pleasant read, strangely engaging seeing the lac of a major plot line. While the little quests and adventures of the protagonist are nothing special and the grinding of mobs makes it seem a bit boring the relationships between the characters keep the story interesting and engaging. A bit more of a major quest or plot line woul be appreciated in the next book of the series because this one, lacking such s. "A mature main character, and some adult content" according to AcceleratorRay. Well written story, using some fairly common LitRPG elements Good foreshadowing for the final scene. I liked that the protagonist didn't always live through encounters. I didn't care for him getting multiple special drops in such a short timeframe, though his power level otherwise seemed not too far out of limits. Plenty of hooks were set for continuation of the story.Typo in title when viewing book in Kin
