Though her characters start out down on their luck, bruised, struggling, they NEVER stay that way. I first read book one while I was at work. I worked in a jail and this was in the jailhouse library. I read through it in one twelve hour shift. I needed more so I came home and ordered the box set. I had to have it in my collection. The second and third of this series did not disappoint either..
