"Written for C instruments, not B flat." according to Justin W Baker. Great book, however I am very disappointed that this book is not written in B flat. It is instead written for C instruments. This book is the exact same thing as my cello book, with the exception of the clef you are playing in. I was hoping to be able to play duets with my wife, but we cannot do that now, unless we transpose the music.. "Most popular book in my clarinet studio library." according to L. Morgan. I'm a private clarinet instructor with a large studio of students. This book is so popular with my clarinetists that I use it weekly. It has a good range of difficulty and is great for teaching rhythm because students recognize the songs and are inspired to play the music correctly. It's good for students who have played between 6 months to about three years, or adult clarinetists just wanting to have fun. Highly recommend..
