A quick read 4Catlady It's Barbara Cartland's usual formula. Cartland almost always includes a little history lesson in each book, when setting the timeline of her stories. I grew up reading her work, so they're very nostalgic for me. If you're looking for a sweet 19th Century style romance novel, that can be read in one sitting, this is it.. "Beautiful love story" according to Sylvia Smith. Awesome. The old days were romance was romance, and love pure and simple. Not complicated and dramatic as it is today..
