But what if we're wrong? What if it's the spark and the grind? We love people whose creative genius arrives in sudden sparks of inspiration. He shows why we won't get far if we rely on the spark without the grind or the grind without the spark. Fortunately, it's possible to get good at both, as Wahl knows from experience. Are you a Dreamer and Doer? I’ve been following Erik Wahl’s work and words for a few years now. His message has now become a way of life for me as it aligns with my core values and beliefs. I am reading this book during a complex time in my life and his message is simple: trust the process, attach yourself to the work, keep your day job while making transitions, embrace routine, stay foolish, and most of all~ fall in love. I could relate to the majority of his examples where he blends facts from the past to get his point across, and many of his quotes hit home. It was a quick and easy read with easy take always to begin living a life of innovative work. I'm not saying it'll be eas. Mindshift and perspective changed Cynthia As a entrepreneur, I ordered this book hoping to ignite a spark to develop a new perspective for my direct sells. As a single mother to a beautiful little 3 year old girl with Autism, this book caused me to have a total epiphany towards being a parent, which I wasnt expecting! Before reading this I was a Grinder (hard worker, get it done type person), I lacked the "spark" due to only focusing on the finish line. I had that grinder attitude towards all areas of my life.Till now.Reading this inspired me to take risk, pause and have a whole new view point of my life. After reading this, I sat and watched my daughter in a
