Fascinating Capital District history Classical CD nut I've collected many of the capital district "Images of America" and "Postcard" series as I am interested in local history and trains. This book is one of the best. It is very well organized (7 different chapters each covering one of the area railways), and has a g. "Loss of an era" according to Tom Rodeheaver. Well I was amazed at how many tolleys there were in the Capital District and just how extensive an area they covered. It's too bad we've lost them to the car. This is a great book the recapture that era. At least in our imagination.
