Great series D. M. Smith Overall a 5 star series of books. The writing is tight, without repetition, the characters are interesting & I like them & the situations are unique & not all murders. I appreciate the fact that they don't kill off everyone in the village one by one, the cops aren't always being represented as stupid idiots, . A must buy for any mystery fan! Enjoy the audiobooks too especially at bedtime when I need to escape the day's cares while listening to Midsomer Murder's Neil Dudgeon reading all of the Cherringham's stories. Trying to solve these who-done-its is just the ticket for the English cozy I do so enjoy. Great writing team! Keep 'em coming. And ke. I am addicted to Cherringham Mysteries - love them.
